Inspired by a certain Jenna and having recently sired the cutest boy in the world, I decided it would be worth while to post my own family blog to keep those of you far away in touch with what is happening in our family.
As you can see he came out a strapping young lad at 8 pounds 14 ounces full of muscle inherited from his dad.
We thought everything went relatively fine until a few hours later when Noelle was feeling faint, due to loss of a large amount of blood and was rushed into an operating room for further procedures and examining where a large hematoma was found. This hematoma became our arch nemesis for the next long while. Noelle spent what should have been the happiest time of her life with a new baby as the most painful time of her life.
We were in the hospital then out of the hospital but then back in the hospital... for a total of about two and a half weeks. I can't think of a happier place to be than in the hospital....
...that was a joke... you can laugh!
Fortunately, we are all home from the hospital now, going on two weeks and Noelle is feeling much better and Peter is doing great.
While in the hospital, we had a few visitors fortunate enough to see us in our best moments.
Grandma and Grandpa Rowe made the trek several times, along with Aunt Nicole (not pictured here but don't worry Nicole there is still more to come).
And good ole Joshua Obendorf was not to be out done and made his sexy way into the hospital.
Since we have been out of the hospital we have spent the majority of our time taking care of a big baby day and night, but have found time to see family.
Grandma Crisenberry flew up from Santa Barbara to stay with us and help. Since our little apartment in the getto of Renton does not have much space, Grandma Crisenberry got to sleep on the couch next to Peter for a few long, much appreciated, nights with Peter.
Here is Joseph sizing up his new little buddy.
We not only saw little Joseph, but Peter was able to meet his new aunt and uncle Adam and Nicole.
Aunt Maxene made it, and wanting not to be forgotten left us all a little treat while taking our picture- she managed to remove her slip, which landed on the ground around her feet in front of several on-lookers, with out even moving a muscle. It was quite impressive, and she managed to capture us all with genuine smiles.
On that note, I will leave you with few more pictures... until next time.
